It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Garry Edward Hamilton (Kentville, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Hamilton (Goodall) and Carl Hamilton; and his siblings, Beth Hamilton, Scott Hamilton and Barry Reid.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hamilton (MacDonald); his children, Adam Hamilton, Michael Thomas (Leah) and Ruby Hamilton (Chris); his grandson Bentley Harris; his sisters, Beverley Hamilton and Susan Hamilton; his niece Ashley Van Der Ploeg (Adrian); his nephews, Thomas Beazley and Connor Ellis; and his great-nieces, Elizabeth and Adalynn Van Der Ploeg.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Meadowview Community Centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Garry's name can be made to the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in recognition of the exceptional care and support that helped extend his time with us.
