With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Lemont West (Kentville, Nova Scotia), who passed away on October 8, 2018 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace West and Cora West (Burger); his son Michael West; and his siblings, Ashel West, Eva Samarra, Madeline Doig, Evangeline Tracey and Della Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred; his sons, Stephen Ghaney (Joann) and Kevin Pothier (Jeanne); his grandchildren, Nathan MacKenzie (Suzanne), Aidan Devine (Kate), Keir and Rowan; his great grandchildren, Vivienne and Henry; and his sister Myrna Conrad (Ronald).
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Rotary Club of New Minas Food For Thought program.
