He was predeceased by: his parent Engbert "Bert"; his siblings, Lammert Tenyenhuis and Sietske "Sieta" Vander Heide (Clarence); and his nephew Jan Michael Hutten. He is survived by: his wife Maja I. "May" Boersma; his children, Julia Tenyenhuis of Kentville, David Tenyenhuis (Michele) of Kentville, Elaine Johnstone (Bryce) and Melissa Tenyenhuis (Ian Nordin); his grandchildren, Kristen Marshall (Travis), Adrian Johnstone, Mitchell, Kyle Tenyenhuis, Erin Tenyenhuis, Ryan and Emma Clarke; his siblings, Lainey Rozema (late John), Elsina Radsma (Frank), Gretha Hutten (John), John Tenyenhuis (June) and Elzo Tenyenhuis (Marijke); and his sister-in-law Barb Frere (Cecil). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Home of Kentville Christian Reformed (1315 Highway 341, Upper Canard, NS B0P1J0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
