He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest "Eric" Walker and Stella M. Cox; his wife Marion A. MacLeod; his brother Kenneth Walker; his nephew Gerard Walker; his niece Joanne MacLeod; and his friend Betty Pettet.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Callaghan (Gerard) and Wayne (Joanne); and his grandchildren, Kate Walker and Christopher Walker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
