He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanne Charest and Alfred Charest; and his brother Raymond. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his daughter Lizette (Ray); his grandsons, Matthew (Johanna) and Ryan (Taylor); and his brother Andre (Madeleine).
