She was predeceased by : her parents, David and Myrtle (Nolter); and her husband Fred Burton. She is survived by : her brother George Higgins (Sharon). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Red Cross or Orchard Valley United Church.
