He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Ron Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Joan Crowell (Lantz); his children, Kevin (Heather), Darren (Susan), Bridgewater and Karla Melanson (Ronnie) of Hammonds Plains; his granddaughter Brittany Melanson; his sister Marie Goucher (Chet) of Aylesford; his niece Sherri Kelly (Brine) of Sunken Lake; his sister-in-law Shirley Lantz of Coldbrook; and also, Kentville and Halifax.
