Janet Viola Meister Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Viola Meister (Kentville, Nova Scotia), who passed away on August 8, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent James Houghton Sr.; her brothers, Bobby Houghton and Harold Mosher; and her brother-in-law Jack Dunn. She is survived by: her parent Ruby Houghton (Zwicker); her husband Robert "Gus" Meister; her sister Edie Dunn of Castlegar, BC; her sister-in-law Joyce Mosher of Halls Harbour; her brothers, James "Jim" Houghton (Marjorie) of Kentville, Fred Houghton (Sylvia) of Halls Harbour, Albert Houghton (Roberta) of Kentville and David Houghton (Sandra) of Kentville; and also, Janet Clarke (Peter), Larry Meister (Susan) of Riverview, NB, Linda Foster (Mike) of Grafton and Bev Ferguson (Brian) of Hazlet, SK. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
