She was predeceased by: her parent Klaas; and her son Klaas Gerrits. She is survived by: her parent Niclasina; her husband Albert Gerrits; her child Bernard Gerrits (Renee); her daughter-in-law Bernadine Gerrits; and her sister Mina Vanderveen (Netherlands). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Canard Community Church, 1315 Hwy 341 Upper Canard N.S. Donations in memory may be made to the Annapolis Valley Victorian Order of Nurses or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
