She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Newton and Clara Dorothy Peck (Cavanaugh); her siblings, Joyce Taylor and Edward Peck; her former husband Douglas Hatt Sr.; her son Marlon Shawn Hatt; her grandson Victor MacEachern (Brookes); her niece Joy Taylor; and her close friend John Dennis Muise.

She is survived by: her sister Frances Leavitt (Peck); and her children, Paul Hatt (Gail Porter) of Lakeville, Bruce Hatt (Sue Croft) of New Minas, Linn Hatt (Jeannie Kilabuk) of New Minas, Kevin Hatt of Kentville, Alan Hatt (Rhoda Kilabuk) of Ross Corner, Byron Hatt of Kentville, Gregory Hatt of New Minas, Douglas Hatt of New Minas, Amarilis MacEachern (Pete Drouillard) of Dutton, ON, Wayne MacEachern (Nicki Beck) of Beaver Bank, Kenneth MacEachern (Terri-Lynn Toney) of Cambridge, Renee MacEachern (Andre Edmunds) of Hammond Plains, Conrad MacEachern (Kimb Dill) of Kentville and Ryan MacEachern (Jess MacPherson) of Kentville. She is also survived by five nieces, three nephews, 42 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
