He is survived by: his girlfriend Diane Rattray; his children, Tracey Bishop of Red Deer and James Rattray of Stettler; his grandchildren, Chase Bishop of Red Deer and Kaia Leinweber of Red Deer; his sisters, Sharon Comeau (Ralph) and Val Brannon; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Rattray (Maryann), Jean Welschuk (Marshall), Shirley Rattray and Bonnie Babineau (Chuck). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren and many friends.
