He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Pyne and Hattie Pyne (Johnstone); his siblings, Donald, Murray, David Pyne, David Powell, Ronnie, Paul, George, William, Shirley Ann, Evelyn and Mae; and his grandson Cody.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn (Bond); his children, Brenda (Mitch), Linda, Patricia and William (April); and his siblings, Rosie, Elsie (David), Pauline (Cecil) and Arthur. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
