It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Franklin MacMillan of Kentville, Nova Scotia, born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 9, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. MacMillan and Florence MacMillan (Kinnley); his parents-in-law, Cecil and Evelyn Allen; and his siblings-in-law, Elaine Allen and Ron Best.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Allen); his son John Allen MacMillan (Tammy) of Kentville; and his siblings, William A. (Lillian), Mary Jane MacMillan of Etobicoke, ON, Irene Best, Lower South River, Harriet MacMillan, Lochaber, Sally Baird (Daniel), Pinevale and Lillian LeBlanc (Lawrence). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and extended family.

Donations in memory may be made to Centreville Baptist Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
