He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Aalders and Lillian Aalders (Corbett); his sister Gail Coleman; and his parents-in-law, Ralph and Thelma MacGowan.
He is survived by: his wife Donna (MacGowan); his children, Karl (Corrine), Mark, Charlie (Wanda) and Kati (Jason); his grandchildren, Nathaneal, Leah and Lilee-Mae; his great grandchild Justyce; his siblings, Peter (Annette) and Ellen; and his brother-in-law Bill Boyd. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the oncology department of the Valley Regional Hospital or Annapolis Valley VON.
