We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2018, Laurie Edward Griffin (Kentville, Nova Scotia), born in Port Williams, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph Griffin; his wife Julia (Weatherbee); his sisters, Kay, Eileen, Mary, Verna and Ardyth; and his great grandchild Julia.
He is survived by: his parent Mary Griffin (Shaw); his children, Laurie "Skip" (Debbie), Morden, Jo-Anne Griffin (Douglas MacDonald), Sydney Mines, Brenda Griffin (James Arenburg), Joy Ward (Donald) and Nicholsville; his nephews, Rick Laird, Wesley Laird and Gary Laird; his brothers, Richard Canard (Carol), Welsford Canard, David Canard (Sandra) and Upper Canard; his grandchildren, Shannon, Bradford, Michelle, Owen and Erin; and his great grandchildren, George, Justin, Maisy and Ruby. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory may be made to the Western Nova Scotia Draft Horse Association.
