He was predeceased by: his wife Lorna MacMahon; his brothers, Evans and Allison; and his granddaughter Maddie. He is survived by: his parents, Mark Gillis and Jean Gillis (Goodwin); his son Lloyd; his sister Carole Spicer of Dartmouth; his children, Lisa of Sandy Cove, Peter (Brogan) of Kentville, Chris (Laurie) of Greenville, SC and Andrew (Katie) of Halifax; his grandchildren, Sarah (Steve), Zoë, Rueben, Benny, Molly, Jaimy, Sacha and Lora; and his great grandchild Lena. He is also survived by parents, grandparents, and great grandparents.
