With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louisa Mailman of Kentville, Nova Scotia, born in Middle Sackville, New Brunswick, who passed away on February 8, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Purdy and Clara "Vivian" Purdy (Ayer); and her husband Laurence Mailman. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Irvine (Randy), Theresa Bennett (Andrew Zwicker), Leona Keddy (Ron), Canaan, Sandra Brown, Lorna Jorgenson (Raymond Silvey), Andrea Russell (Barry), David (Brenda), Bruce, Christopher (Tammy Hagar) and Brooklyn Corner; her siblings, Edward Purdy (Joyce) and Florence Price; and her sister-in-law Lorraine Trask (Edward "Ned"). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to St. James Anglican Church, Kentville, the Old St. Edward's Church Cemetery fund, Clementsport or the NS Lung Association.
