She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon David and Violet Viola Brown (Sanford); her husband Bligh Moore Munroe; her siblings, Flora Sanford, Verna Rees, Douglas, Edward and Howard Brown; her brother-in-law Laurie Munroe; her father-in-law Wylie Munroe; and her sister-in-law Belva Munroe.

She is survived by: her children, Lyndon, Valerie Karayz (late Leslie) of New Minas, NS, Tammy Munroe of Kentville, NS, Nancy Farndale (Dave) of Coldbrook, NS and Lorraine Ross (Curtis) of Steam Mill, NS.; her grandchildren, Richard B., Michael B., Elizabeth M., Frederick M., Daphnie C., Brenton M., Alexander M., Tasha D., Micheal D., Kyle F. and Steven F.; her great grandchildren, Braydon, Brandon, Leah, Chantelle, Mahalya, Clayton, Nikita, Jaida, Jonathan, Preston and Brinlee; her great great grandchildren, Aubree, Dawson, Lincoln, Bentley, Izaac, Mahtayo, Oliver, Nevaeh, Evern and Lily; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Jean Rafuse (Munroe) of New Minas, NS, Joan Munroe of Greenwich, NS, Barb Brown-Kroger and Alberta. She is also survived by loving mother to her 7 children, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
