He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Bolland and Joan Bolland (Harrison); and his son Kevyn (Geraldine). He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Pineo; his son Eric Kentville (Laurie); his brother Nigel Pittsburgh (Ellie); his grandchildren, Emma and Thomas Coldbrook (Leah); and his sisters-in-law, MaryLou Misner and Barb Pineo.
In keeping with his wishes, donations can be made to Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia or KCA Breakfast Program in lieu of flowers.
