She was predeceased by: her parents, Manus Bower and Dora Bower (Jones) of Upper Ohio, NS.; her husband George; her granddaughter Chrissy Flecknell; and her siblings, Eva, David, Mildred, Victor, Philip, Leslie, Russel, Ethel, Prince, Gerald and Norman.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie Flecknell and Ian Young (Lourdes); her sister Ora Slade; her grandchildren, Geoff (Kelly), Rob (Sharon), Scott and Jennifer; and her great grandchildren, Karly, Anna, Jack, Morgan, Colton, Ava and Ethan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
