Morris Leslie Ells Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2025, Morris Leslie Ells (Kentville, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Ells and Ida Mae Ells (Schofield); and his sisters, Hazel Smith, Ruby Atwell, Phyllis and Henderson.

He is survived by: his wife Gertie; his children, Christine Smith (Lindsay), Highbury, Bryce (Diane), Black River, Marilyn Kaizer (Vaughan), Scotts Bay and Kenneth "Ken" (Anna); his grandchildren, Rebecca Rand, Mark Smith, Matthew Smith, Evan Ells, Leslie Ells, Shane Kaizer, Nickolas Ells and Megan Ells; and his great grandchildren, James Rand, Adam Rand, Sara Rand, Curran Smith, Arvin Smith, Emma Ells, Levi Ells, Scarlett Kaizer, Dawson Kaizer and Tate Ells.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Black River Cemetery.

Donations in memory may be made to Parkinson Society of Nova Scotia, Black River Cemetery, or a charity of your choice.
