She is survived by: her son Howard Townsend (Kathy Heffernan); her brother Philip Aptt (Diane); her grandsons, Trevor Hird and Brock Muise; and her great grandchild Grace Hird.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Middleton Funeral Home (398 Main St, Middleton, NS B0S1P0). A burial was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at the International Christian Mission Cemetery (743 Academic Ave, Kingston, NS B0P1R0).
