He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Doust (Nichols); and his stepfather Alfred Doust. He is survived by: his wife Karen (Lantz); his children, Blair Cameron (Eastern Passage), Treka Chaffey (Houston), Pamela Lyghtle (Thunder Bay), Melody Swanton (Thunder Bay) and Betty-Joe Eye (Canning); his half-brother Roy Doust; his stepsiblings, Irma Jarrett and Ron Doust; his half-sisters, Jan, Archbishop Laurie Munro and Sheila Bush; and his grandchildren, Whitney Touesnard (Randy), Cameron Burke, Bradley Swanton (Mihaela), Kailey Sabean (Phil), Ricky Manning (Rebecca), Dylan Manning (Ashley) and Travis Eye. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
