With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roderick Alexander Davis (Kentville, Nova Scotia), born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 1, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Bancroft Davis (Banny) and Orris Davis (Fillmore); his brother W. R. Davis (Dick); his nephew Christopher Davis; and his sisters-in-law, Peggy Davis (Baker) and Cynthia Davis (Fuller).
He is survived by: his brothers, Frank Bancroft Davis (Calgary) and Ralph Harold Davis (Cara Davis); his sister-in-law Loretta Davis (Yarmouth); his nieces and nephews, Eric Davis (Vancouver), Alexandra Chadwick (Vancouver), Trudy Davis (late Chris Davis), Ruth Purdy (Calgary), Loran Davis (Calgary), Sarah Sparke (Calgary), Jonathan Davis (Montreal), Mark Davis (Yarmouth), Charlotte Davis (Yarmouth), Jeremy Rutledge (Halifax) and Graham Rutledge; and his cousins, John Clulee, Janet Duncan, Nancy MacKenzie of Weymouth, NS, Donna Freeze of Langley, BC, Walter Davis and Joy Bradley.
His last trip was only a few years ago when Covid restrictions were lifted, and he travelled to Mexico and enjoyed exploring all the country had to offer.
