He was predeceased by: his brothers, Ralph and James. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Mary Jean, Anne, Patricia Sweet (Brad), Scott (Kim), John (Jennifer) and Jason (Jill); his grandchildren, Emily, Olivia, Caty, Elijah Sweet, Kassidy, Lachlan, Rebecca, Angus, Austin, Sarah, Hunter and Jason A.; his great grandchild Charlotte; and his sisters, Mary Farrell (Alex) and Gertrude.
