He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Pyne and Harriett Pyne (Johnson); his daughter Janet MacFarlene; and his siblings, Shirley Ann, Donald, Murray and David.
He is survived by: his wife Helen (Dominey); his grandchildren, Murray, Alex, Jessica, Annette and Allen; his great grandchildren, Stefan, Mason, Emmett and Caroline; his son-in-law Robbie MacFarlene; and his siblings, Pauline Bond (Cecil) of Lakeville, Elsie Weatherby (David) of Toronto, Rosie Hyland of Dartmouth, Paul of Lakeville, Arthur of Lakeville, George of New Minas and William Powell of Lakeville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
