We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2019, at the age of 70, Valerie Dawn Patterson (Kentville, Nova Scotia), born in Digby, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Outhouse and Verna Bates (Elliott); and her nephew Derek Haines. She is survived by: her pet Brodie; her children, Paula Prime (Bruce Snell) of Clementsport, NS, Roxanne Prime (Gio Santoni), Tara Payne (Mike), Lyall Patterson (Amy Coates) of Beaver Bank, NS, Justin (Katie Nickerson) and Jared Patterson (Ashley); her grandchildren, Lance, Tyson, Rachel, Maddox, Ella, Landon, Weston, Jaxen, Jayce and Emery; her great grandchildren, Jayden and Olivia; her siblings, Wanda Stark, Laurel Haines (Gary), Edward Outhouse (Elaine) and Harold (Letitia Thimot); her stepfather Malcolm Bates; and her stepbrother Darin Bates. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
