He is survived by: his nephews, Reg and Russ; his children, Angela Cruickshank (Scott), Lynn Patterson, Kimberley DesBarres (Paul) and James MacDonald (Scott Saunders); his grandchildren, Alexander DesBarres, Emily (Lance Siliker) and William Patterson; and his sister Lowna Veinot.
