He was predeceased by: his former wife Beverley M. Richards (Wade); his parents, George Richards and Hazel Richards; and his siblings, Eileen Howard, Fred, Stan, Don, Ken and George.
He is survived by: his wife Anna R. Richards (Best); his children, Darrell of Midland, ON, Ronald of Sackville, NS and Sandra (La); his stepson Shannon Parker of Aylsford, NS; and his grandchildren, William, Berjamin, Bradley, Samantha, Caelyn and Matthew. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
