He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Johnstone and Dolly Johnstone (England); and his sister Margaret Fredericks. He is survived by: his daughter Sara Johnstone (Smith); his sister Helen Johnstone; Samantha and Cynthia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
