He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Blacquiere and Anna Blacquiere (Warner); his brothers, Leroy and David; and his sisters-in-law, Kendra and Marcella Blacquiere.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Murphy; his sons, James and Jason; his stepsons, Wayne, Brandon and Bradley; his sisters, Alice Perry (Don), Debbie Rudolph (John) and Sandra Praught (Joe); his sisters-in-law, Bebe Blacquiere of Jacksonville, NB and Debbie Blacquiere of Tyne Valley, PEI; his brothers, Hal, Michael (Kay) of Summerside, PEI and Donald; and his aunts, Alice LeBlanc (Al) and Evelyn Southerland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Middleton Funeral Home (398 Main St, Middleton, NS B0S1P0). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
