It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Mabel Sanford of Kingston, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lee Emery Sanford; her mother Edith Taylor; her stepfather Fred Taylor; her father Albert Johnson; and her brother John Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Fred (Gail) of Dartmouth, NS, Margaret MacLellan of Harbour Centre, NS and Robert (Honorah Sheppard) of Truro, NS; her granddaughter Angela Axford (Vern); her children, Tim Sanford (Karina), Stephan MacLellan (Stepfanie), Kathy MacLellan (JP Brooker), Jill MacLellan (Matthew MacDougall), David MacLellan (Krissy Brewer), Rebekah Sanford (Tony Fletcher) and Sarah Sanford; and her niece Sandra Hatten (Rod). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; one great- great- grandchild.
