She was predeceased by : her parents, Herbert Yarndley and Evelyn Yarndley (Weir); her former life partner James Samuel Bent; her siblings, William "Billy" Yarndley and Velda Pierce; and her stepsiblings, Jean Arnold and Clyde Yarndley.

She is survived by : her close friend Eldon Currie; her children, Blaine Bent (Betty), Beaconsfield, Deborah Bell (Allison), Kevin Bent (Caroline) and Harmony; her brother Robert Yarndley (Roxanne); her grandchildren, Jesse Bent (Rachell), Tabatha Ralston (Tom), Kimberly Dyke (Craig) and Tanya Hiltz (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Justin, Zachary, Samuel, Matthew, Ryan and Lucas.

Donations in memory may be made to the SPCA or a favourite animal charity.
