She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Sim and Manola Sim (Starratt); her husband Donald; and her siblings, Brenton, Lorna Sanford, Marie Gaudet and Manola.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Dompierre and Krista Scopie; her sisters, Gwen Stevens, Sandra Zwaan (Epke), Joanne McClair (Arnie) and Deborah McKay; and her granddaughters, Erin and Emily Dompierre. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
