He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson White and Ida White (Lilly); his brother Jonathan; and his mother-in-law Margaret Fream. He is survived by: his wife Marney (Fream); his daughter Nancy (Barry Baker); his grandchildren, Lauren Williams (Justin) and Ian Baker (Nadia Leiningen); and his great grandchildren, Noëlle Williams, Thomas Baker and Leiningen.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Varner Funeral Home (55 Young St, Truro, NS B2N3W6).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of George can be made to Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Canada or Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
