He was predeceased by : his parents, James Carroll and Elizabeth Carroll (Ettinger); his wife Irma (Scott); his daughter Darlene Shackleton; and his siblings, Murray, Vernon, Arthur "John" and June Cole.

He is survived by : his children, Vernon Carroll (Cathy) and Terrie MacDonnell (Raymond); his siblings, Freddie Carroll, Erma Fraser and Irene Milbery; and his former life partner Joyce Carroll. He is also survived by six grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Church Cemetery (14 Church St, Lantz, NS B2S1P3).

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
