It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Hazel Alberta Keyes of Lantz, Nova Scotia, born in Dutch Settlement, Nova Scotia, who passed away, on February 26, 2023. She was predeceased by : her parents, Stanley Ashley and Muriel Ashley (Isenor); her husband Fred; and her siblings, Barb, Lucy and Robie.

She is survived by : her sons, Clarey (Marjorie) and Brent Belnan (Jo-Anna); her grandchildren, Karla Longford (Alex), Mark Keyes (Kelly), Gregory Keyes (Sara) and Kelly Bitar (Rob); her great grandchildren, Sarah, Isaac, Luke, Owen, Aiden, Sofia, Simon and Sebastian; her grandchildren, Brayden, Olivia and Jacob; and her brother Stanley "Junior". She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
