He was predeceased by: his parent Vera Pearl Isenor of Milford; his wife Darlene; his stepson Glen DeCoste; his sister Devona; and his brother-in-law Gordon Halloran.

He is survived by: his close friend Carroll Collins; his son Don; his grandsons, Kyle (Chelsey) and Kris (Teri); his great grandchildren, Maddie, Finn, Ayla and Nash; his son Jamie; his grandsons, Dillon (Nicole) and Bailey; his great grandchild Memphis; his stepdaughter Leanne Higgins (Danny); his grandchildren, Billy and Jackie; his stepson Ronnie DeCoste (Rhonda); and his grandchildren, Taylor, Cassie and Travis DeCoste.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ettinger Funeral Home Chapel (2812 NS-2, Shubenacadie, NS B0N2H0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ettinger Funeral Home (2812 NS-2, Shubenacadie, NS B0N2H0). A reception will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 11:40 AM to 1:30 PM at the Ettinger Funeral Home (860 Hwy 2, Elmsdale, NS B2S1M1).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Diabetes Association or the Lantz Volunteer Fire Department.
