She was predeceased by : her parents, Elizabeth Margaret Sampson (Mountain) and Joseph Russell Cotie of Grande Greve; her parents-in-law, Evangeline Martell (Mombourquette) and Stephen Martell; and her nephew Enos Sampson.
She is survived by : her husband Alexander Louis Martell of L'Ardoise; her children, Michael MacNeil (Edwina) of Oban, NS, Russell MacNeil (Selena) of Seaview, NS, Debbie Tobin of St. Peter's, NS and Jolene Manegre (Marc) of St. Albert, AB; her grandchild Chrissy Tobin (Jason Leblanc) of High River, AB; her children, Daniel MacNeil (Melissa) of Hay Cove, NS, Lyndon MacNeil of Halifax, NS, Brandy MacNeil, Gage Burke (Dana) of Kempt Rd, NS, Riley MacNeil of Seaview, NS, Delanie Manegre of Calgary, AB and Grant Manegre; her great grandchildren, Norman MacNeil, Delia MacNeil, Bowen Burke and Tommy Tobin; and her siblings, Diana Sampson (Leo) of Sampsonville, NS and Joe Cotie (Lillian) of Winnipeg, MB. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers in-law.
Memorial donations in memory of Gail may be made to Strait Richmond Hospital.
