We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2021, at the age of 91, Mildred Lena Sanford (Larrys River, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Anthony "Tony" and Amelia Avery (Richard); her former life partner Wilfred Levangie; her husband Lester Sanford; her siblings, Helen, Margaret, Clara, Mary, Garnet, Abby, Ethel, John, Simon, Irvin and Mike; and her stepbrother Clarence Richard.

She is survived by : her close friend Nancy Inferrera; and her pet McGee. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
