She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis "Frank" and Olivia Veinott (Oickle); her husband Gene Whitman; and her brothers, Ivan Veinott and Gerald Veinott.
She is survived by: her son Michael Whitman (Sharleen); her grandchildren, Miranda Gates (Michael) of Grande Prairie, AB, Crystal Weaver (Evan) and Brickton; her great grandchildren, Meghan, Mason and Connor; her sister-in-law Sadie Veinott; and her nephews, Wayne, Kevin and Keith.
Donations in memory may be made to the Lawrencetown United Baptist Church or to Whitman Cemetery.
