Karen Marie Porter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2025, at the age of 61, Karen Marie Porter of Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband George Porter; her parents, Alden Winott and Bertha J. Winott (MacRae); her siblings, Stephen Winott (Cindy) of Fredericton, NB and Lori-Ann Winott (Pat Bouffard); her siblings-in-law, Blair Porter (Cathy) of Kingston, NH, Lesley MacDonald and Nancy Illsley (Richard); her mother-in-law Shirley Porter; her siblings' children, Darcy Sampson (Logan Fletcher), Jordan Porter, Caitlin Kates (Sean), Morgan Chenier (Alec), Alex Illsley (Chelsea), Patrick Illsley (Meghan), Adam Winott and Erin Winott (Chris Cornect); her father-in-law W. L. Porter; her brother-in-law Wayne MacDonald; and her pets, Tanner and Heidi. She was also cherished by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Middleton Funeral Home (398 Main St, Middleton, NS B0S1P0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
