“To Walter's family and friends, I only met Walter a few times, and that was all it took to make me happy to see him each time. He had an outgoing smile, and a way of getting a smile back. It was impossible to be in a sour mood around him; time with him was always a pleasure. I was fortunate enough to have been included in his golf team, and he carried us to the championship more than once. I hardly knew him, but he made a deep impression on me. You have lost someone special, and I am so sorry.”
