It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Frances Bishop of Lingan, Nova Scotia, born in New Waterford, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Clements and Elizabeth Clements (Carrigan); and her brothers, Thomas, Freeman, Wilfred (Red), Johnny, Augustus (Gus), Charlie, Edward and Russell Clements.
She is survived by: her sibling Ma's; her husband Fred Bishop; her children, Rosalie MacMullin, Frederick Bishop, Wilfred Bishop (Doreen) and Millie Getto (Carl); her siblings, Emmerence Burke, Gatha Crowell (Allan), William Clements (Pat) and Gary Clements; her siblings-in-law, Doreen Clements, Shirley Clements, Joan Clements, Irene Clements, Marion Reid, Kay Boudreau (Charlie), Teresa Bishop, Barbara Bishop and Greg Larade; her friend Ellen MacMillian; her grandchildren, Tracy Chopek (Allan), Tanya Mercer (Marcus), Kelly Bishop, Ian Bishop (Cynthia), Ashley Lapierre (Cam), Juliana Walker (Jerry), Lyndon Bishop (Michele), Tyler Bishop (Haley), Sally Dean (Logan) and Jaclyn Murphy (Leland); her great grandchildren, Rebecca, Danisha, Alex, Kyle, Cody, Myles, Kenzie, Adelyn, Bethany, Alexander, Sebastian, William, Abigail, Harrison, Benjamin and Baby Murphy; her great great grandchild Harper Grace Jones; her sisters, Pauline Selvet, Ethel DaSilva and Ella Larade; her children-in-law, Dan MacMullin and Marie MacLeod; her parents-in-law, Jack and Elizabeth Bishop (MacNeil); and her siblings-in-law, Sadie Bishop, Connie Bishop, Alma Bishop, Mae Bishop, Chris Clements, Richie Burke, Frank Selvet, Carl DaSilva, Johnnie Bishop, Neilie Bishop and Ernie Bishop. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, relatives.
