We announce the death of Ernie Lahey (Louisbourg, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 25, 2026, at the age of 88. Ernie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Lahey and Leo Lahey; and his siblings, Jim, Sarah Jeanette, Shirl, Marie and Carrie.
He is survived by: his wife Joan "Tish" Lahey; his children, Arlene, Chris and Ernestine; his son-in-law Hans; his grandchildren, Oliver and Stella; and his siblings, Flo, Sheila (Jim), Angie (Al) and Joe (Roz).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stella Maris Graveyard Association or to a charity of your choosing.
