He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ann Sampson (Rose) and Edward Daniel Doyle; his wife Mary Alice; his son Bradford; and his granddaughter Heidi.
He is survived by: his children, Colin "Eddie" (Andrea) of Prospect, Ken (Laurie) of Russell, ON, Ron of Louisdale, Brian (Laurie) of Whiteside, Leanne Oake (Darrell) of Dartmouth and Colleen MacLeod (Hughie) of Louisdale; and his sisters, Shirley Clorey (Roy), Agnes Fougere (late Leo), Patsy Jeffrey (Jerry), Donna Samson (Gary) and Bernice Benoit (Stephen). He is also survived by his 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Room Grandique Ferry Rd Louisdale. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM at the St. Louis Church (156 Grandique Ferry Rd, Louisdale, NS B0E1V0). A burial was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:20 PM at the St. Louis Cemetery.
