Morton Harold McGrath Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Morton Harold McGrath of Louisdale, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael McGrath and Ethel McGrath (Edwards); his wife Mary McGrath (Keating); and his siblings, John, Dougie, Edith Nickerson, Patricia Landry, Clythie Smith, Margaret Gerrior, Myra Bastable, Clara Theriault, Naioma Landry, Cora Keating and Jean Benedict.

He is survived by: his sister Frances Samson; his niece Lian Parsons (Todd Parsons); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Bennett and Lindan Parsons; and his siblings-in-law, Dan and Beulah Sampson.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Assumption Church.
