She was predeceased by: her mother Effie; and her siblings, Loretta Hemlow, Margie Gallant, Linda Smith, George Hanans (Buddy), Robert Hanans and Alan Hanans.
She is survived by: her husband Harold "Dick" Ryan; her daughter Anna Gallivan; her son-in-law Brian Pople; her daughters, Lois Pople, Joanne Scott (Mark) and Sandi Slaunwhite (Tim); her son-in-law Jack Gallivan; her siblings, Helena Connors (Mike), Gwen Richardson, Wanda Neave (Rick) and Darryl Keddy; her grandchildren, Chris Gallivan (Ben Gallivan), Jamie Pople (Stacy Hudson), Nicole Slaunwhite (Leslie Slaunwhite) and Carson Scott (Spencer Scott); and her great grandchildren, Molly, Lily, Juniper Gallivan, Sophie Pople and Austin Groucher. She is also survived by children and animals, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to the Canadian Cancer Society in her memory.
