She was predeceased by: her parents, Winifred Getson and Ernest Getson; her husband Gerald; her son Gerry; and her siblings, Douglas, Norman, Sidney, Percy, Edna, Florence and Violet.
She is survived by: her children, Lorraine Blackburn (Jimmy) and Jody Blackburn (Tresa); her great grandchild Ethan Tough; her stepgrandchildren, Marion, Trisha Gray (Andrew) and Jenna Gray; her stepgreat-grandson Grayson Blackburn; her sister Elsie Blackburn (Bookie) of Greenmount, PEI; and her siblings-in-law, Marguerite Purcell (Gary), Marion Humphrey (Rodney), Madeline Ryan, Patricia Morash, Aldona Rayner, Terry Blackburn (Peggy), Leroy Hiltz and James Hall. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
