He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Rudge and Hildred Rudge (Davis); his wife Barbara (Hire); his son Darryl; his granddaughter Kelsylyn; and his siblings, Barbara, Linda, Marlene, Herbert, Edward and Robert.
He is survived by: his children, Annette, Jennifer Phillips (Mark) of Trenton, ON and Owen (Amanda); his brother Wayne of Goderich, ON; his grandchildren, Jessica (Jesse), Brandon Amber (Taylor), Nichy, Spencer, Jordan, Brady (Kaylee) and Dylan; and his great grandchildren, Kaeto, Lyric, Olivia, Lexus, Sophi, Remy, Piper and Aiden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
